History
The famous 1907 MCMVII High Relief — the Roman-numeral-date business/collector issue, redesigned to low relief (Arabic numerals) later the same year because the high relief would not strike properly. This is the primary market coin (graded MS-60 to MS-69), distinct from both the Arabic low-relief business strike (saint-1907-nomm) and the High Relief proof (saint-1907-nomm-high-relief-proof). Mintage stays VERIFY: NGC states "There are no mintage figures and the origins of the coins are a mystery." The often-cited ~12,367 is a research estimate (Burdette/Breen), not an NGC or Mint recorded delivery, so it is held pending a citable source.
