History
Semiquincentennial issue, dual-dated "1776–2026." Collector-only San Francisco proof cent — struck in the normal copper-plated zinc (NOT silver, even in the Silver Proof Set) and as a regular proof (not a reverse proof). The one 2026-S proof cent is included in BOTH the standard 2026 Proof Set and the 2026 Semiquincentennial Silver Proof Set; it is a single issue, not two. Union Shield reverse, Brenner obverse.
