History

DISPUTED ATTRIBUTION. The entire 1894-S delivery was 24 coins, and whether they were struck as proofs or business strikes has never been firmly established. The figure is carried on the PROOF page, which the catalogue supports (it lists 1894-S only as a PF issue). This page is left without a figure so the same 24 coins are not counted twice.
